In order to teach the Ready to Rent curriculum, instructor certification is required. 

Agency instructors must complete the Instructor Certification Training prior to teaching any part of the curriculum.  Certified Instructors may include staff, volunteers, board members, etc.  All instructors receive on-going technical assistance via phone, e-mail or webinar.

Three, 2.5 hour online training sessions and a supplemental assignment are required for certification.  Instructors receive a Ready to Rent Instructor Training Manual that includes:

• Housing Readiness Training Manual (guide to teaching housing readiness)
  
• Instructor Training Guide (step-by-step guide on how to teach the Action Kit)
  
• Standard Ready to Rent Action Kit (participant workbook)
  
• Adapted Ready to Rent Action Kit (participant workbook)
