Ready To Rent Agency Licensing

Ready To Rent offers organizations the opportunity to implement our nationally recognized tenant education curriculum to equip individuals and families with the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to overcome rental barriers, obtain housing, and build successful tenancies.

Agency Licensing includes a one-time licensing fee, ongoing use of the Ready To Rent curriculum with agency clients, access to comprehensive curriculum and program materials, and ongoing technical assistance.

All individuals who teach any portion of the Ready To Rent curriculum must successfully complete Ready To Rent Instructor Certification Training and meet the requirements for certification prior to providing instruction. Certified Instructors may include agency staff, volunteers, board members, and other individuals authorized by the Licensee.

What Is Included in the Agency Licensing Fee?

Curriculum & Participant Materials

• Standard Ready To Rent Action Kit (participant workbook)*
• Adapted Ready To Rent Action Kit (participant workbook)*
• Spanish-language Ready To Rent Action Kit (participant workbook)*
• Ready To Rent Orientation Outline*

Program Administration & Marketing Materials

• Forms and tools used to administer the Ready To Rent program*
• Essential marketing and outreach materials, including sample landlord letters, presentations, and other resources*
• Ability to incorporate agency logos into authorized curriculum, program administration, and marketing materials

Curriculum Adaptation & Flexibility

• Ability to adapt curriculum materials to reflect applicable state and local laws, housing resources, and community information
• Ability to translate curriculum materials into additional languages
• Flexibility to incorporate supplemental materials and adapt curriculum content to address the needs of specific populations, consistent with the terms of the Ready To Rent Licensing Agreement

Ongoing Resources & Technical Assistance

• Access to major curriculum updates provided electronically by Ready To Rent LLC
• Ongoing technical assistance via phone or email
• Access to curriculum and program resources through the Ready To Rent curriculum cloud

*Curriculum and program materials are provided electronically through the Ready To Rent curriculum cloud in PDF, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and/or Excel formats, as applicable.

Certified Instructors also receive a printed training manual as part of their Instructor Certification Training.
